At the gateway to the Sequoia National Forest, Kern River Brewery is Kernville's only brewpub. This makes KRBC much more than just a restaurant; it's an attraction in itself. Keeping the names of the beer local, providing a simple yet diverse menu and having a comfortable place where everybody knows your name, Kern River Valley residents and visitors alike have found themselves at home.

A collaboration with our friends at FiftyFifty Brewing.
So what's with the name?
Well, it's a long story that involves setting a climbing route, two motorcycle batteries, one surprised climber & an upset dog. If you'd like to learn more, you can stop by the pub sometime and ask Krebs, the legendary climber intimately familiar with the situation. We made this Imperial Stout with our friends at FiftyFifty Brewing and barrel-aged it in a mix of maple & bourbon barrels for 18 months.
No puppies were harmed in the making of this beer.

Citra Nectaron
A NEW TAKE ON A KRBC CLASSIC
Why mess with a good thing you may ask? Well, why not?
We took our award-winning Citra DIPA recipe and folded in a new hop from New Zealand formerly known as HORT 4337 and now named Nectaron. With its peach and guava notes, this hot new variety pairs perfectly with the fruit-forward characteristics of Citra. Enjoy this limited release while it lasts!

Citra DIPA
GABF GOLD MEDAL DOUBLE IPA
This beer is all about the hops! Citrus, mango and pineapple aromas abound, but make no mistake, there is no fruit here, just a serious dry-hop regimen of Citra and Amarillo hops. We put in just enough malt backing to balance out the flavor, but Citra Double IPA is as close as it gets to chewing on a hop vine. Enjoy this one fresh!
